Narrative:

Cleared to cross runway 28R taxi and hold short of runway 28L. We taxied to runway 28L and into position. A J3 had to go around. My captain was so busy and talkative about the F4's on the ramp he misunderstood the taxi clearance. My head was down with the ACARS, I looked up and cleared final, saw no one. Now we taxied into position as tower sent the J3 around. Contributing factors: lack of sterile cockpit and me not telling my captain to hush up as well as not asking tower if we were clrd 'into position' or not. Factors affecting, my captain knows 'all' and any input from a first officer is not really heard. Therefore, I became more reserved, rather than more aggressive when not sure of our situation. 'Not again.'
