Narrative:
Nose gear spray deflector had been removed from the aircraft on aug/xx/96. Due to wet runway conditions we were working with tulsa tech to try to get the aircraft fixed. They had contract maintenance ask us to check the cargo compartments for parts. Two plain cardboard boxes, wrapped in baggage and mailing tape were found to be in the cargo compartments. These boxes were unlabeled except for marking pen notations on each box reading do not remove from aircraft. I believe these boxes, in this condition represented a potential security risk violation. All of the proper packing papers were located on the inside of the boxes.
