Narrative:
While receiving VFR flight following, we were advised of a tfr around CCC, 117.3 (3 NM radius). During our turn to avoid the area we approached 2 NM of CCC. Flight service gave no briefing of the tfr's in our area. We normally fly this route each yr many times. We just returned from a 1 month trip to colorado and were unaware of these changes. Local tfr's should be offered in all briefings.
