Narrative:
A thunderstorm, with level 5 WX, was 10 mi west of the airport moving east (toward airport). Clouds associated with the cell created an overcast layer above the airport. ASOS reported the WX as clear, visibility 10 SM. This was not very representative of the WX at the time.

Title: ASOS RPTED WX CLR WHEN TSTM CLOUDS WERE OBSERVED ABOVE THE ARPT.
Narrative: A TSTM, WITH LEVEL 5 WX, WAS 10 MI W OF THE ARPT MOVING E (TOWARD ARPT). CLOUDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE CELL CREATED AN OVCST LAYER ABOVE THE ARPT. ASOS RPTED THE WX AS CLR, VISIBILITY 10 SM. THIS WAS NOT VERY REPRESENTATIVE OF THE WX AT THE TIME.
