Narrative:

We were told to expect lower. Soon after, all 3 crew members heard a descent clearance given to us. I acknowledged clearance from center from FL350 to FL330 upon descent. Through FL340, center advised us clearance was for another aircraft and we climbed back to FL350. Center also acknowledged no traffic in the immediate area and the matter was closed for them. Failure by center to listen to readback of clearance contributed to this altitude excursion.
