Narrative:

Ind departure control gave us 6000 ft. There were large thunderstorms off the departure end of runway 32 and I was occupied trying to get another heading other than runway heading and watching the radar. I inadvertently set in 7000 ft in the altitude warning window and didn't catch my mistake until the aircraft leveled off at 7000 ft. Ind departure control advised that she gave us 6000 ft but there was no conflict with other traffic.
