Narrative:

On jfk camrn 3 arrival, we were cleared to descend from FL330 to FL260 and from south of sea isle cleared direct to camrn intersection. During descent through FL270, we received a TA on TCASII. At approximately FL266, we received a RA and, since we had a visual on the traffic at approximately 1 O'clock at FL260, I began to level off. We attempted to advise ZDC of our action and were ignored. Shortly, as traffic passed our 3 O'clock, ZNY cleared us to expedite descent to FL190. The conflict had passed.

Narrative: ON JFK CAMRN 3 ARR, WE WERE CLRED TO DSND FROM FL330 TO FL260 AND FROM S OF SEA ISLE CLRED DIRECT TO CAMRN INTXN. DURING DSCNT THROUGH FL270, WE RECEIVED A TA ON TCASII. AT APPROX FL266, WE RECEIVED A RA AND, SINCE WE HAD A VISUAL ON THE TFC AT APPROX 1 O'CLOCK AT FL260, I BEGAN TO LEVEL OFF. WE ATTEMPTED TO ADVISE ZDC OF OUR ACTION AND WERE IGNORED. SHORTLY, AS TFC PASSED OUR 3 O'CLOCK, ZNY CLRED US TO EXPEDITE DSCNT TO FL190. THE CONFLICT HAD PASSED.
