Narrative:

Sounded like child on radio repeating my transmission of intention to land. I needed fuel but was told airport was closed. I could not make it on to brownwood without fuel, so I decided to land. Someone was mocking my radio xmissions. I forgot to lower my gear. The engineering design on this aircraft does not retract wheels all the way. It is possible to land this aircraft with gear up with only minor damage to tip ends of wood propeller. We repaired propeller, got fuel and flew to brownwood the next day.
