Narrative:
Controllers at socal TRACON are required to miss ZLA's aircraft in the arnes holding pattern 10000 ft and above. However, it is not depicted on our radar maps and we must guess the location. This is extremely unsafe. We need to have this pattern and intersection depicted on our maps. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that the fix has not been added to the display map but indicated the facility is aware of the problem. Reporter is under the impression the fix will be added to a future map. Reporter stated the procedures for protecting the affected airspace are in effect, but the exact location of the fix is not clear. Reporter said he asked 5 controllers where the fix was located on the display and he was shown 5 different locations.

Title: RPTR STATED THAT CTR HOLDING FIX FOR WHICH THE APCH FACILITY WILL PROTECT IS NOT DEPICTED ON THE DISPLAY.
Narrative: CTLRS AT SOCAL TRACON ARE REQUIRED TO MISS ZLA'S ACFT IN THE ARNES HOLDING PATTERN 10000 FT AND ABOVE. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT DEPICTED ON OUR RADAR MAPS AND WE MUST GUESS THE LOCATION. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE. WE NEED TO HAVE THIS PATTERN AND INTXN DEPICTED ON OUR MAPS. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT THE FIX HAS NOT BEEN ADDED TO THE DISPLAY MAP BUT INDICATED THE FACILITY IS AWARE OF THE PROB. RPTR IS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THE FIX WILL BE ADDED TO A FUTURE MAP. RPTR STATED THE PROCS FOR PROTECTING THE AFFECTED AIRSPACE ARE IN EFFECT, BUT THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE FIX IS NOT CLR. RPTR SAID HE ASKED 5 CTLRS WHERE THE FIX WAS LOCATED ON THE DISPLAY AND HE WAS SHOWN 5 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS.
