Narrative:
Descending from FL200 on the macey 1 arrival to atl we were given a crossing restr to cross macey at or below 12000 ft and cross womac at 9000 ft. I read back the clearance to ATC and the captain acknowledged. Nearing macey I told the captain he needed to hustle down to meet the crossing restr. He took no action other than to look at his charts. I reaffirmed my concern of meeting the 12000 ft crossing restr at macey by telling him to expedite descent. The captain reduced power slightly but did not increase the rate of descent. When asked about our altitude by ATC I responded 13300 ft and then the captain increased descent and responded to me 'oh well.' the captain has over 10 yrs of experience flying this arrival. I have almost 6 yrs experience on this arrival. I should not have assumed he knew what he was doing or where he was on the arrival. From now on I will give him the intersection and a DME. If this doesn't fix it I will have to tell ATC we are unable to meet the restr.

Title: ALTDEV ALT UNDERSHOT. ALT XING RESTR NOT MET WHEN THE EMB120 FO'S CRM FAILS TO JAR THE CAPT OUT OF HIS LETHARGY.
Narrative: DSNDING FROM FL200 ON THE MACEY 1 ARR TO ATL WE WERE GIVEN A XING RESTR TO CROSS MACEY AT OR BELOW 12000 FT AND CROSS WOMAC AT 9000 FT. I READ BACK THE CLRNC TO ATC AND THE CAPT ACKNOWLEDGED. NEARING MACEY I TOLD THE CAPT HE NEEDED TO HUSTLE DOWN TO MEET THE XING RESTR. HE TOOK NO ACTION OTHER THAN TO LOOK AT HIS CHARTS. I HAVE ALMOST 6 YRS EXPERIENCE ON THIS ARR. I SHOULD NOT HAVE ASSUMED HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING OR WHERE HE WAS ON THE ARR. FROM NOW ON I WILL GIVE HIM THE INTXN AND A DME. IF THIS DOESN'T FIX IT I WILL HAVE TO TELL ATC WE ARE UNABLE TO MEET THE RESTR.
