Narrative:
Student pilot did not flare, caused minor damage to airplane. I believe this was due partly to my overestimation of the student's ability, and tardiness in assisting.

Title: STUDENT PLT IN SMA MAKES HARD LNDG. CFI FAILS TO PREVENT IT. TRAINING IN PROGRESS.
Narrative: STUDENT PLT DID NOT FLARE, CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO AIRPLANE. I BELIEVE THIS WAS DUE PARTLY TO MY OVERESTIMATION OF THE STUDENT'S ABILITY, AND TARDINESS IN ASSISTING.
