Narrative:

Flying on autoplt coupled on the FMS the aircraft turned to a heading of 190 degrees, 5 mi before it should have. I disconnected the autoplt and returned on course and was then given a 120 degree heading. When releasing the autoplt, I missed my altitude by 300 ft. I corrected this immediately in my turn.

Title: A CPR G-IV FLC HAS THEIR FMC START A TURN TOO EARLY. AS THEY WERE CORRECTING THIS THEY HAVE AN ALT EXCURSION.

Narrative: FLYING ON AUTOPLT COUPLED ON THE FMS THE ACFT TURNED TO A HDG OF 190 DEGS, 5 MI BEFORE IT SHOULD HAVE. I DISCONNECTED THE AUTOPLT AND RETURNED ON COURSE AND WAS THEN GIVEN A 120 DEG HDG. WHEN RELEASING THE AUTOPLT, I MISSED MY ALT BY 300 FT. I CORRECTED THIS IMMEDIATELY IN MY TURN.
