Narrative:
#1 stall warning tested inoperative. Received amended dispatch release via company on VHF. Affected MEL 27-13 said nothing about needing leading edge indicator. However, aircraft had previous leading edge indicator MEL'ed inoperative (27- 4). MEL 27-4 requires 2 operational stall warnings.

Title: AN MD80 DISPATCHED WITH #1 STALL WARNING INOP AND PREVIOUS DEFERRAL OF LEADING EDGE POS INDICATION.
Narrative: #1 STALL WARNING TESTED INOP. RECEIVED AMENDED DISPATCH RELEASE VIA COMPANY ON VHF. AFFECTED MEL 27-13 SAID NOTHING ABOUT NEEDING LEADING EDGE INDICATOR. HOWEVER, ACFT HAD PREVIOUS LEADING EDGE INDICATOR MEL'ED INOP (27- 4). MEL 27-4 REQUIRES 2 OPERATIONAL STALL WARNINGS.
