Narrative:
Leveling at 11000 ft, altitude armed, traffic popped up on TCASII. Heard altitude alert, aircraft was at 10700 ft. Immediate correction was applied but altitude bottomed at 10660 ft. Put this under the category of distraction, yes, but we are not sure why the aircraft didn't capture since the autoplt was engaged.

Narrative: LEVELING AT 11000 FT, ALT ARMED, TFC POPPED UP ON TCASII. HEARD ALT ALERT, ACFT WAS AT 10700 FT. IMMEDIATE CORRECTION WAS APPLIED BUT ALT BOTTOMED AT 10660 FT. PUT THIS UNDER THE CATEGORY OF DISTR, YES, BUT WE ARE NOT SURE WHY THE ACFT DIDN'T CAPTURE SINCE THE AUTOPLT WAS ENGAGED.
