Narrative:

WX is IFR low ceilings and varying visibility due to rain. The ASOS is kicking out special WX observation faster than controllers can cut ATIS messages, most of the time the ASOS is lagging behind the WX conditions. ASOS has increased controller workload to the point where controllers are ignoring the special WX observations that it continually transmits. This ASOS should be decommissioned.

Title: APCH CTLR SAYS THAT ASOS WX MACHINE WAS PRODUCING SO MANY SPECIAL WX RPTS THAT THE CTLRS FINALLY IGNORED THEM. RPTS WERE COMING SO FAST THAT THE ATIS COULD NOT BE UPDATED AND RPTR SAYS ASOS SHOULD BE DECOMMISSIONED.

ASOS HAS INCREASED CTLR WORKLOAD TO THE POINT WHERE CTLRS ARE IGNORING THE SPECIAL WX OBSERVATIONS THAT IT CONTINUALLY XMITS. THIS ASOS SHOULD BE DECOMMISSIONED.
