Narrative:
Air carrier X was descended through small aircraft Y due to traffic complexity and data block overlap. Be more observant and maybe not allow aircraft to fly through the arrival zone at such a key altitude.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: ARTCC RADAR CTLR DSNDED AN ACR LTT THROUGH THE ALT OF AN SMA WITH LTSS. CTLR HAD DATA BLOCK OVERLAP AND DIDN'T' SEE THE POTENTIAL CONFLICT.
Narrative: ACR X WAS DSNDED THROUGH SMA Y DUE TO TFC COMPLEXITY AND DATA BLOCK OVERLAP. BE MORE OBSERVANT AND MAYBE NOT ALLOW ACFT TO FLY THROUGH THE ARR ZONE AT SUCH A KEY ALT.
