Narrative:
Our falcon 20 was parked and chocked opposing a beech king air on the ZZZ ramp. The parking brake was set. 3 passenger boarded, and the APU started. FBO personnel removed the chocks and the falcon 20 started rolling forward with the parking brake on. Crew attempted motoring an engine to get hydraulic pressure, but were unable to attain any braking before the falcon 20 collided with the king air. Damage was minor, but could have been prevented if chocks had been replaced promptly when the aircraft started rolling. Supplemental information from acn 350184: after previous day's ramp event, our director of maintenance confirmed the airworthiness of the aircraft. Unable to duplicate the prior situation, including parking brake and annunciator failure. Per our MEL, the aircraft was flown to our base after the necessary maintenance documentation. Supplemental information from acn 350182: suspect intermittent 3-WAY hydraulic valve.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A DASSAULT DA20, FALCON 20, ROLLED INTO A BEECH KING AIR. THE FALCON'S PARKING BRAKE WAS SELECTED 'ON,' BUT THE CHOCKS HAD BEEN REMOVED. ACFT DAMAGE MINIMAL, NOT SPECIFIED.
Narrative: OUR FALCON 20 WAS PARKED AND CHOCKED OPPOSING A BEECH KING AIR ON THE ZZZ RAMP. THE PARKING BRAKE WAS SET. 3 PAX BOARDED, AND THE APU STARTED. FBO PERSONNEL REMOVED THE CHOCKS AND THE FALCON 20 STARTED ROLLING FORWARD WITH THE PARKING BRAKE ON. CREW ATTEMPTED MOTORING AN ENG TO GET HYD PRESSURE, BUT WERE UNABLE TO ATTAIN ANY BRAKING BEFORE THE FALCON 20 COLLIDED WITH THE KING AIR. DAMAGE WAS MINOR, BUT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED IF CHOCKS HAD BEEN REPLACED PROMPTLY WHEN THE ACFT STARTED ROLLING. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 350184: AFTER PREVIOUS DAY'S RAMP EVENT, OUR DIRECTOR OF MAINT CONFIRMED THE AIRWORTHINESS OF THE ACFT. UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PRIOR SIT, INCLUDING PARKING BRAKE AND ANNUNCIATOR FAILURE. PER OUR MEL, THE ACFT WAS FLOWN TO OUR BASE AFTER THE NECESSARY MAINT DOCUMENTATION. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 350182: SUSPECT INTERMITTENT 3-WAY HYD VALVE.
