Narrative:

Unsafe ground roll speed due to tower urging 'make haste -- I have another one landing right behind you' was the cause of my right gear to go off the pavement when turning onto taxiway C. I might have clipped a taxi light. When I entered left downwind pattern for runway 14L due to tower instruction, he apparently gave me and another airplane (small aircraft Y) both clearance to land. When realizing we were both abreast, tower called me to say he would approve a right 360 degree turn to provide spacing. As I was about 180 degrees into the turn, tower called me to turn into the pattern and insisted that I had clearance to land runway 14L. The small aircraft Y called tower and said he had clearance to land on runway 14L. Tower called me to give clearance to land on runway 14R. I extended downwind longer than usual until I saw that small aircraft Y was safely on his base to runway 14L. I landed on runway 14R and was slowed to turn onto the first taxiway B. Tower called me with instruction to go to taxiway C and to make haste. I returned the call and avoided taxiway B and proceeded down runway 14R. Tower called again to make haste. When I got to taxiway C, I couldn't slow down enough to make a normal, safe turn. Tower called to hold short of runway 14L. I returned the call and stopped. Tower called again with same instruction. I returned the call and said I was holding short. I was stopped at the time of his second call. Tower told me to then cross runway 14L and go to ground control. Ground said to taxi to ramp and call the tower. When I called the tower, he said my landing and procedure was fine, but that he would like a faster response on the radio. I use a headset with the microphone button on the yoke. My radio response was immediate. He stated he didn't receive 2 of my responses, but there is no problem. He suggested I have the radio checked. The traffic would have been more safe if tower had not given both of us clearance to land on runway 14L and then diverting me to runway 14R if he had another one directly behind me. He became confused as to which one of us he had instructed to do a 360 degree turn. When realizing his mistake, he might have extended the downwind leg for one of us or ask for a complete 'go around.'

Title: SMA PLT LANDED RWY 14R AFTER SOME CONFUSION IN THE TFC PATTERN, WAS TOLD TO CLR RWY AT TXWY C WITHOUT DELAY, AND HAD ONE MAIN GEAR GO OFF PAVEMENT AND CLIPPED A LIGHT. RPTR SAYS IT WAS TWR CTLR'S FAULT BY TELLING HIM TO CLR THE RWY WITHOUT DELAY, HE COULDN'T SLOW FAST ENOUGH TO MAKE THE TURN.

Narrative: UNSAFE GND ROLL SPD DUE TO TWR URGING 'MAKE HASTE -- I HAVE ANOTHER ONE LNDG RIGHT BEHIND YOU' WAS THE CAUSE OF MY R GEAR TO GO OFF THE PAVEMENT WHEN TURNING ONTO TXWY C. I MIGHT HAVE CLIPPED A TAXI LIGHT. WHEN I ENTERED L DOWNWIND PATTERN FOR RWY 14L DUE TO TWR INSTRUCTION, HE APPARENTLY GAVE ME AND ANOTHER AIRPLANE (SMA Y) BOTH CLRNC TO LAND. WHEN REALIZING WE WERE BOTH ABREAST, TWR CALLED ME TO SAY HE WOULD APPROVE A R 360 DEG TURN TO PROVIDE SPACING. AS I WAS ABOUT 180 DEGS INTO THE TURN, TWR CALLED ME TO TURN INTO THE PATTERN AND INSISTED THAT I HAD CLRNC TO LAND RWY 14L. THE SMA Y CALLED TWR AND SAID HE HAD CLRNC TO LAND ON RWY 14L. TWR CALLED ME TO GIVE CLRNC TO LAND ON RWY 14R. I EXTENDED DOWNWIND LONGER THAN USUAL UNTIL I SAW THAT SMA Y WAS SAFELY ON HIS BASE TO RWY 14L. I LANDED ON RWY 14R AND WAS SLOWED TO TURN ONTO THE FIRST TXWY B. TWR CALLED ME WITH INSTRUCTION TO GO TO TXWY C AND TO MAKE HASTE. I RETURNED THE CALL AND AVOIDED TXWY B AND PROCEEDED DOWN RWY 14R. TWR CALLED AGAIN TO MAKE HASTE. WHEN I GOT TO TXWY C, I COULDN'T SLOW DOWN ENOUGH TO MAKE A NORMAL, SAFE TURN. TWR CALLED TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 14L. I RETURNED THE CALL AND STOPPED. TWR CALLED AGAIN WITH SAME INSTRUCTION. I RETURNED THE CALL AND SAID I WAS HOLDING SHORT. I WAS STOPPED AT THE TIME OF HIS SECOND CALL. TWR TOLD ME TO THEN CROSS RWY 14L AND GO TO GND CTL. GND SAID TO TAXI TO RAMP AND CALL THE TWR. WHEN I CALLED THE TWR, HE SAID MY LNDG AND PROC WAS FINE, BUT THAT HE WOULD LIKE A FASTER RESPONSE ON THE RADIO. I USE A HEADSET WITH THE MIKE BUTTON ON THE YOKE. MY RADIO RESPONSE WAS IMMEDIATE. HE STATED HE DIDN'T RECEIVE 2 OF MY RESPONSES, BUT THERE IS NO PROB. HE SUGGESTED I HAVE THE RADIO CHKED. THE TFC WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE SAFE IF TWR HAD NOT GIVEN BOTH OF US CLRNC TO LAND ON RWY 14L AND THEN DIVERTING ME TO RWY 14R IF HE HAD ANOTHER ONE DIRECTLY BEHIND ME. HE BECAME CONFUSED AS TO WHICH ONE OF US HE HAD INSTRUCTED TO DO A 360 DEG TURN. WHEN REALIZING HIS MISTAKE, HE MIGHT HAVE EXTENDED THE DOWNWIND LEG FOR ONE OF US OR ASK FOR A COMPLETE 'GAR.'
