Narrative:
Approaching runway 16 at den airport, approach control had us high and close behind another aircraft. We were cleared for a visual approach. Concentrating on following the other aircraft, we landed without incident, only to discover that approach control had not handed us off to tower and we had not requested to go to tower. We landed without a clearance to land. Once on the runway, we contacted tower and they cleared us to land and taxi off the runway.
