Narrative:

Segment crw-clt held by shine intersection. Due to WX in clt diverted to cae, our alternate. When arriving in cae WX below minimums after cleared for approach but prior to reaching IAF. Therefore proceeded on emergency authority/authorized since we felt we needed to get in. Arrived at ramp with 1300 pounds of fuel (1 hour and 10 mins of fuel). No other more suitable airports in point of time and fuel. When decision was made to proceed to alternate cae WX was above approach minimums.
