Narrative:
Flew pit direct dfw. Takeoff fuel was 32000 pounds, actual block time 4 hours 22 mins. Scheduled en route was 2 hours 39 mins. Held east of dfw 40 mins then took reroute for a northwest STAR on final approach in and out of IMC and rain we got GS off flags. ATC reported aircraft may have blocked antenna. We delayed descent until off flags out of view. At that point we were too high to land. Went around. We had enough fuel (7900 pounds) to fly another approach and go to alternate (sps), but could not take any approach sequencing delays. On go around at 7900 pounds fuel we declared 'critical fuel.' dfw was saturated with WX and traffic. ATC worked us right in for what was now a visual approach to runway 36L. We parked at the gate with 7400 pounds fuel.
