Narrative:
Jones 1 arrival dfw. Switched to 125.01. Misunderstood or dialed in wrong frequency. Checked in, discussed final part of arrival, approachs we could expect and track differences in our vors. Noticed frequency was quiet. Returned to previous frequency. It was jammed. Finally got in and got correct frequency. New frequency was jammed. Finally got in (took a few barbs from other aircraft who had known we were missing). By this time we were past carbs at 11000 ft. Controllers professionally descended us and vectored us to runway 13R.

Narrative: JONES 1 ARR DFW. SWITCHED TO 125.01. MISUNDERSTOOD OR DIALED IN WRONG FREQ. CHKED IN, DISCUSSED FINAL PART OF ARR, APCHS WE COULD EXPECT AND TRACK DIFFERENCES IN OUR VORS. NOTICED FREQ WAS QUIET. RETURNED TO PREVIOUS FREQ. IT WAS JAMMED. FINALLY GOT IN AND GOT CORRECT FREQ. NEW FREQ WAS JAMMED. FINALLY GOT IN (TOOK A FEW BARBS FROM OTHER ACFT WHO HAD KNOWN WE WERE MISSING). BY THIS TIME WE WERE PAST CARBS AT 11000 FT. CTLRS PROFESSIONALLY DSNDED US AND VECTORED US TO RWY 13R.
