Narrative:
VFR descent for frg. Was handed off from ZBW 35 mi north of lga. Contacted N90, received a transponder code. Happened to touch the border of the class B before controller acknowledged the transponder code. I was turned out of class B, descended below the floor of the class B and proceeded to frg. That handoff and high ground speed was how problem arose. Controller's acknowledgement was how it was discovered.
