Narrative:
On bowie 1 arrival at 11000 ft, 250 KIAS, TCASII advisory received on light airplane which was reported by controller as an aircraft preparing to drop jumpers. A few seconds later TCASII RA received to descend. TCASII RA followed to 10500 ft. ATC notified. TCASII reported clear of conflict and we returned to 11000 ft with no further difficulties. Conflict aircraft was in sight at all times and got no closer than 1.5 DME from us. ATC reported aircraft in a timely manner and was helpful throughout as usual.

Title: FLC DSNDED OFF OF STAR ALT IN RESPONSE TO A TCASII RA OF A JUMP ACFT AT THE SAME ALT MORE THAN A MI AND ONE HALF AWAY. ATC HAD GIVEN THIS ACFT AS TA AND THE FLC DID HAVE THE ACFT IN SIGHT AT ALL TIMES.
