Narrative:
Inbound to cowboy on gregs 1 arrival with nbe as destination, INS navigation to waypoint 8 (craff) with nbe in waypoint 9. Aircraft reached craff and continued to nbe on same general heading. Noted 38 DME and initiated left turn to 080 magnetic heading. At same time ATC commanded turn to 070 degrees and asked about published turn. Published procedure is left to 080 degrees at 39 DME. Due to INS drift and no waypoint or load or turn to automatically, and navigating off of INS, turned 1 mi late. Recommend adding a waypoint on the 080 degree heading to be available to load for navigation.
