Narrative:

Descending from 8000-6000 ft, 240 KTS. Approach cleared us to descend to 4000 ft after crossing the VOR. Extremely tired crew after all night flight from sydney, approximately 15 hours. I heard clearance and repeated it to myself and was simply concentrating on flying aircraft (it was on autoplt) and descended through 6000 ft to about 5720 ft before climbing back to 6000 ft. Flying all night, lack of sleep, and tiredness all contribute to these sits. This was an augmented crew (4 pilots) and none of us caught this error.
