Narrative:
On takeoff, immediately after lift-off, aircraft experienced bird strike. Indications: aircraft engine vibration, strong odor from air-conditioning system, change in engine noise. Right engine vibration indicator read 4 to 5. Right engine power reduced to slightly above idle with corresponding reduction in engine aircraft vibration. Informed dab tower of bird strike and requested immediate vector to final for landing. Vectored to and cleared for localizer back course runway 25R approach. At minimums, runway was not in sight. Executed normal go around, with reduced power on right engine. Requested and cleared for ILS runway 7L approach. Completed normal landing on runway 7L, utilizing left engine reverse only. All procedures were performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Title: FOREIGN OBJECT INGESTION BIRD ON TKOF IN ACR MLG. RETURN LAND WITH PRIORITY HANDLING.
Narrative: ON TKOF, IMMEDIATELY AFTER LIFT-OFF, ACFT EXPERIENCED BIRD STRIKE. INDICATIONS: ACFT ENG VIBRATION, STRONG ODOR FROM AIR-CONDITIONING SYS, CHANGE IN ENG NOISE. R ENG VIBRATION INDICATOR READ 4 TO 5. R ENG PWR REDUCED TO SLIGHTLY ABOVE IDLE WITH CORRESPONDING REDUCTION IN ENG ACFT VIBRATION. INFORMED DAB TWR OF BIRD STRIKE AND REQUESTED IMMEDIATE VECTOR TO FINAL FOR LNDG. VECTORED TO AND CLRED FOR LOC BACK COURSE RWY 25R APCH. AT MINIMUMS, RWY WAS NOT IN SIGHT. EXECUTED NORMAL GAR, WITH REDUCED PWR ON R ENG. REQUESTED AND CLRED FOR ILS RWY 7L APCH. COMPLETED NORMAL LNDG ON RWY 7L, UTILIZING L ENG REVERSE ONLY. ALL PROCS WERE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ESTABLISHED POLICIES AND PROCS.
