Narrative:
ATC facility: sea ground control. Location: sea ramp. We pushed back from the gate at sea without contacting ground control. Controller was upset. Neither the airport page nor the ATIS indicated the need to call ground before pushback. We should have called. Requirement to do so should be stated.

Narrative: ATC FACILITY: SEA GND CTL. LOCATION: SEA RAMP. WE PUSHED BACK FROM THE GATE AT SEA WITHOUT CONTACTING GND CTL. CTLR WAS UPSET. NEITHER THE ARPT PAGE NOR THE ATIS INDICATED THE NEED TO CALL GND BEFORE PUSHBACK. WE SHOULD HAVE CALLED. REQUIREMENT TO DO SO SHOULD BE STATED.
