Narrative:
Cleared to 15000 ft 25 DME south of ott. On autoplt, given descent to 15000 ft close to 25 DME fix. Autoplt, descending at 6000 FPM plus went into capture mode at 17000 ft and did not respond. Went straight through 15000 ft. I disconnected autoplt and took over. Bottom of descent was 14000 ft and I immediately climbed back to 15000 ft. Radar controller never said anything.
