Narrative:
While in cruise #2 fire light came on. Retarded thrust lever. Indication went out then came back on. Engine fire- shutdown checklist completed. Continued to st louis (destination). Landed with no further problems. Was continuing to stl in compliance with 121.565. After considering all factors, I made the decision to continue.

LANDED WITH NO FURTHER PROBS. WAS CONTINUING TO STL IN COMPLIANCE WITH 121.565. AFTER CONSIDERING ALL FACTORS, I MADE THE DECISION TO CONTINUE.
