Narrative:

As we taxied into the gate the entire area in front and to the left and to the right was clear of obstructions. About 4 ft from stopping at the gate, the aircraft veered sharply to the left. We were told a deicing truck had backed up and impacted the left wingtip. There was a guideman up front and a wing walker on the left wing and a wing walker on the right wing. We were not given any indication of a conflict by the guideman prior to impact. We only received the standard come forward signal as we crept into the gate. Supplemental information from acn 356182: as aircraft approached parking position at gate, left wingtip was struck by deicing truck maneuvering on adjacent gate. At time of impact, all 3 guidemen indicated all clear, and captain was being given pull ahead signal.
