Narrative:
Prior to landing runway 9R, selected gear down. Observed green light (gear) hydraulic pressure 1400 psi, and visually verified 3 gear down and locked. Upon touchdown, right main gear collapsed. Lost directional control, departed runway to right, striking a taxiway sign. If I had chosen the wider runway 9L (150 ft), I might have been able to stay on runway and avoid impact with other objects.
