Narrative:

After takeoff from phl, we were given clearance to mxe out of 2000 ft MSL, climb to 10000 ft MSL. The wind was showing approximately 260 degrees at 66 KTS, autoplt and FMS on, navigating direct to mxe. When we checked on with nyc on 133.67, he cleared us to navigation J75 out of mxe and asked if we were on an assigned heading because he showed us about 5 mi south of mxe. The FMS, EFIS displayed us tracking toward mxe, showing slightly south (1-2 mi) of mxe, correcting for wind to join J75.
