Narrative:
Local controller cleared to cross runway 8R to terminal. I heard first officer answer and crossed runway 8R. First officer had answered on company frequency and not local control. A jump seat rider pointed this out. Our company 'on the ground call' should have waited until clear of the active departure runway 8R.

Narrative: LCL CTLR CLRED TO CROSS RWY 8R TO TERMINAL. I HEARD FO ANSWER AND CROSSED RWY 8R. FO HAD ANSWERED ON COMPANY FREQ AND NOT LCL CTL. A JUMP SEAT RIDER POINTED THIS OUT. OUR COMPANY 'ON THE GND CALL' SHOULD HAVE WAITED UNTIL CLR OF THE ACTIVE DEP RWY 8R.
