Narrative:
Flight was en route atl-tri flight plan route hours-sot-hmv-tri. While en route at FL190, we deviated from flight plan route between hours- sot and proceeded direct to hmv without clearance. ATC queried our clearance at which point we realized our error and corrected. ATC informed us that there was no conflict. Our actions can be the resultant factor of our air carrier scheduling practices. We were on day 4 of 5, following a reduced rest overnight due to a troublesome electrical problem on our aircraft then flying a local schedule, all with duty times in excess of 12 hours. This type of scheduling practice compounds our fatigue level over 5 days.
