Narrative:

Captain was fatigued from backside of clock scheduled pairing coupled with day duty! Captain only had 3 hours of sleep. Air carrier tried to reroute pairing with 6 more hours of duty and 4 additional hours of flight time, captain was harassed and scare tactics were used. Captain refused the rerouted pairing. Captain now feels that more trouble is headed his way. FARS should be more specific to fatigue and circadian sleep cycles, pilot's need help in making their decisions on far 61.53 and far 91.13 easier. This will help keep the chief pilot away.

Title: A320 CAPT REFUSED TO ACCEPT REROUTE PAIRING DUE TO FATIGUE. RPTR CAPT CLAIMS ONLY 3 HRS SLEEP PLUS BACK SIDE OF CLOCK FLYING FOLLOWED BY DAY DUTY. RPTR SAYS HE WAS HARASSED BY HIS COMPANY AND THREATENED.

ACR TRIED TO REROUTE PAIRING WITH 6 MORE HRS OF DUTY AND 4 ADDITIONAL HRS OF FLT TIME, CAPT WAS HARASSED AND SCARE TACTICS WERE USED. CAPT REFUSED THE REROUTED PAIRING. CAPT NOW FEELS THAT MORE TROUBLE IS HEADED HIS WAY. FARS SHOULD BE MORE SPECIFIC TO FATIGUE AND CIRCADIAN SLEEP CYCLES, PLT'S NEED HELP IN MAKING THEIR DECISIONS ON FAR 61.53 AND FAR 91.13 EASIER. THIS WILL HELP KEEP THE CHIEF PLT AWAY.
