Narrative:
On initial contact with pit approach, they assigned us runway 32 with an ILS approach. However, while being vectored and subsequently cleared for the approach, our position just did not seem correct. We subsequently transitioned from IMC to VMC as the airport came into view. It was at this time it was evident the controller was vectoring us for runway 28R. We were then cleared for a visual approach to runway 28R.
