Narrative:
We were turned in very high and behind traffic for runway 24R. Approach cleared us for the visual while calling out traffic on runway 25 and runway 24L. We got distraction and rushed trying to get on profile and watch for traffic. We made all the proper callouts, however, the 1000 ft call (instruments xchk, cleared to land) was made, but my response was in error. We landed without clearance from tower. Approach did not tell us to call tower and we didn't switch until on the ground. I believe fatigue was a contributing factor to this error.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: AN ACR B737 LANDED WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: WE WERE TURNED IN VERY HIGH AND BEHIND TFC FOR RWY 24R. APCH CLRED US FOR THE VISUAL WHILE CALLING OUT TFC ON RWY 25 AND RWY 24L. WE GOT DISTR AND RUSHED TRYING TO GET ON PROFILE AND WATCH FOR TFC. WE MADE ALL THE PROPER CALLOUTS, HOWEVER, THE 1000 FT CALL (INSTS XCHK, CLRED TO LAND) WAS MADE, BUT MY RESPONSE WAS IN ERROR. WE LANDED WITHOUT CLRNC FROM TWR. APCH DID NOT TELL US TO CALL TWR AND WE DIDN'T SWITCH UNTIL ON THE GND. I BELIEVE FATIGUE WAS A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR TO THIS ERROR.
