Narrative:
We were cleared RNAV direct craig VOR. Waypoint #2 was crg VOR, #3 was crg 55 (waypoint 55 mi north of craig). In error, #3 was selected. Rather than passing over crg VOR, we passed about 9 mi east of it. ATC gave us a 10 degree turn left to rejoin the airway. The cause of this was a breakdown in cockpit discipline. I assumed that the PNF was monitoring the vors (in accordance with air carrier policy) as the PF's instruments are monitoring the RNAV. In the future, I guess all crew members must be reminded of their duties rather than assuming that they will do them.

Title: AN ACR LGT HAD A HDG TRACK DEV.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED RNAV DIRECT CRAIG VOR. WAYPOINT #2 WAS CRG VOR, #3 WAS CRG 55 (WAYPOINT 55 MI N OF CRAIG). IN ERROR, #3 WAS SELECTED. RATHER THAN PASSING OVER CRG VOR, WE PASSED ABOUT 9 MI E OF IT. ATC GAVE US A 10 DEG TURN L TO REJOIN THE AIRWAY. THE CAUSE OF THIS WAS A BREAKDOWN IN COCKPIT DISCIPLINE. I ASSUMED THAT THE PNF WAS MONITORING THE VORS (IN ACCORDANCE WITH ACR POLICY) AS THE PF'S INSTS ARE MONITORING THE RNAV. IN THE FUTURE, I GUESS ALL CREW MEMBERS MUST BE REMINDED OF THEIR DUTIES RATHER THAN ASSUMING THAT THEY WILL DO THEM.
