Narrative:

First officer flying. Descending to 11000 ft into slc, VMC conditions, on autoplt with automatic leveloff engaged, aircraft failed to leveloff although it had previously done so perfectly. I noticed the descent below 11000 ft at about 10500 ft and grabbed the control column, disengaging the autoplt and adding power, returning immediately to 11000 ft. We were VMC with no other aircraft on 25 mi range on TCASII (below position) and slc was clearly visible 30 mi ahead.
