Narrative:

Departed from lbb. No precipitation was seen or felt on ramp or aircraft. Aircraft had been deiced. After departure, I learned that the company operations manual does not allow takeoff or landing in freezing precipitation, other than that there was no danger, as there really wasn't any precipitation. Corrective action: I will assure compliance with company policy and FAA regulation regarding such matters and will go by the WX being reported and not my own observations.
