Narrative:
We were on IFR from leesburg, fl, to pdk. We canceled IFR at 10000 ft. However, we continued into class B airspace to 8500 ft before being cleared into class B. We should have gotten clearance to enter class B. Better yet, we should not have canceled IFR.

Title: RPTR ERROR ADMITTED BY C500 FLC IN CANCELING IFR TOO SOON IN PROX OF CLASS B AIRSPACE. ERRONEOUS UNAUTH PENETRATION OF CLASS B AIRSPACE OCCURRED.
Narrative: WE WERE ON IFR FROM LEESBURG, FL, TO PDK. WE CANCELED IFR AT 10000 FT. HOWEVER, WE CONTINUED INTO CLASS B AIRSPACE TO 8500 FT BEFORE BEING CLRED INTO CLASS B. WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN CLRNC TO ENTER CLASS B. BETTER YET, WE SHOULD NOT HAVE CANCELED IFR.
