Narrative:
Aircraft was brought to a stop outside of parking area awaiting arrival of parking personnel to direct aircraft to jetway parking. Another B767 was parked on jetway to the immediate left. We were directed forward by parking personnel. Being unable to observe wingtips from the B767 cockpit, full attention is given to forward director. The left wingtip contacted right wingtip of adjacent B767. Engines were shut down after we were directed to stop. Maintenance disengaged aircraft and we were then towed to the gate. Unknown to us, there was another lead-in line to the right, to be used in this situation, that was obstructed by ground equipment. Parking personnel seemed to be rushed, wrong lead-in line was open and jetway was raised and positioned for us on the wrong lead-in line.

Title: A B767-200 BEING GUIDED ON TO GATE WITH ENG PWR HAD THE L WINGTIP STRIKE A PARKED B767-200 ON AN ADJACENT GATE. INCURRED WINGTIP DAMAGE TO BOTH AIRPLANES. AIRPLANE WAS GUIDED INTO GATE USING THE WRONG LINE.
Narrative: ACFT WAS BROUGHT TO A STOP OUTSIDE OF PARKING AREA AWAITING ARR OF PARKING PERSONNEL TO DIRECT ACFT TO JETWAY PARKING. ANOTHER B767 WAS PARKED ON JETWAY TO THE IMMEDIATE L. WE WERE DIRECTED FORWARD BY PARKING PERSONNEL. BEING UNABLE TO OBSERVE WINGTIPS FROM THE B767 COCKPIT, FULL ATTN IS GIVEN TO FORWARD DIRECTOR. THE L WINGTIP CONTACTED R WINGTIP OF ADJACENT B767. ENGS WERE SHUT DOWN AFTER WE WERE DIRECTED TO STOP. MAINT DISENGAGED ACFT AND WE WERE THEN TOWED TO THE GATE. UNKNOWN TO US, THERE WAS ANOTHER LEAD-IN LINE TO THE R, TO BE USED IN THIS SIT, THAT WAS OBSTRUCTED BY GND EQUIP. PARKING PERSONNEL SEEMED TO BE RUSHED, WRONG LEAD-IN LINE WAS OPEN AND JETWAY WAS RAISED AND POSITIONED FOR US ON THE WRONG LEAD-IN LINE.
