Narrative:

Aircraft came in to clt with MEL for forward entry door warning. In troubleshooting the problem I checked the door rigging and operation. I found the target for the door indication proximity sensor loose and positioned and retightened same. When I signed the logbook I failed to mention the fact that I checked the door rigging and operation and only entered the corrective action to clear the MEL. In signing the logbook I failed to cover the subject of the door handle popping up on landing as mentioned in the previous write-up. In checking the door rig and operation the problem with the door handle popping up was covered. The door locking and overcenter function was good. There was no evidence of binding or soft unlatching.
