Narrative:

Passing 12000 ft on climb out mia, received a TA followed by an immediate RA with aircraft descending into us from 3500 ft above. During the RA maneuver, ATC notified us of approaching aircraft. Aircraft was VFR, no communication with our ATC frequency. Descended to 11500 ft in RA and returned to 12000 ft.

Narrative: PASSING 12000 FT ON CLBOUT MIA, RECEIVED A TA FOLLOWED BY AN IMMEDIATE RA WITH ACFT DSNDING INTO US FROM 3500 FT ABOVE. DURING THE RA MANEUVER, ATC NOTIFIED US OF APCHING ACFT. ACFT WAS VFR, NO COM WITH OUR ATC FREQ. DSNDED TO 11500 FT IN RA AND RETURNED TO 12000 FT.
