Narrative:
B757 was on climb out from iad to FL230. BE02 was in level flight at FL240, approximately 7 mi in front of the B757. I climbed the B757 to FL270 behind the BE02 because I had misread the flight progress strip and was under the impression that the BE02 was an LR24. I discovered my mistake too late to prevent the loss of separation.
