Narrative:

Rejected the takeoff at approximately 50 KTS due to the #2 engine N1 not spooling. #2 egt, N2 and fuel flow all spooled normally. Conferred with company maintenance and they said try it again, meaning another takeoff, since cfm 56-3-B1 engine N1 will not spool on the first spool of the day. We used the #2 engine to taxi for the subsequent takeoff and the #2 N1 as well as the other engine parameters spooled normally.
