Narrative:
We were en route to san jose del cabo, mexico on airway J-1. Until the jan/xx/97 revision to latin american high/low chart 1 and 2, the airway J-1 between lap and sjd (cabos VOR) was a straight line. The jan/yy/97 latin america high/low chart shows 3 rtes between lap and sjd, and J-1 is no longer a straight line between the 2 vors. We flew the straight line between the 2 vors. I finally discovered this change on the ground after we landed. Closer scrutiny of each part of our route prior to course change will prevent this deviation from recurring.
