Narrative:
Approaching blythe VOR to commence the blythe 2 arrival into phx. I, as the PNF, was tending to paperwork when ATC informed us we were heading for a restr area. When I looked at my CDI and course setting I found it changed from 082 degrees to 105 degrees. 105 degrees was the next course we were to take after 082 degrees from the VOR. This whole sequence took approximately 3 mins. ATC then gave us a heading to reintercept the 082 degree radial. The PF had changed my course setting without confirming it with me. Problem: crew resource management. I wasn't informed of a course change or was a new course confirmed and/or agreed upon.
