Narrative:
Returning from a charter to cyyg, I stopped to clear customs in kbgr. Upon inspection of the aircraft documents it was discovered that the permanent aircraft registration was not available, the aircraft is new and was delivered a little over a month ago. The united states customs agent notified me that international travel in an aircraft without the permanent registration was illegal. After a verbal reprimand and a phone call to the company chief pilot, I was allowed to continue on. Upon returning to the principal base of operations, it was also discovered that the company had failed to forward an outbound united stated gendoc to our local customs office. According to my chief pilot, this was going to be handled by dispatch due to the time restraints placed on the charter.
